A Flowers Allure

Flowers are, simply put, a beatific symbol of earths laughter, happiness, and soul wrapped into breathtaking hues and intricate shapes.  They stand so small and thin, but one alone can mean so much both metaphorically and personally.  I think Walt Whitman said it perfectly when he stated that"a morning glory at my window satisfies me more than the metaphysics of books".  The allure and the promise behind one flower, can be an inspiration for not only fashion, but life.

This week, my good friend and fellow classmate Jordan and I went to the Mitchell Park Conservatory, also known as "the Domes" located just off St. Paul Avenue.  The Dome itself was completed in 1967 and was designed by local architect, Daniel Grieb.  It is divided into three domes; The Floral Show, The Desert, and lastly The Tropical.

Each are unique to their own climates and are an amazing representation of plant life in different areas.  Take a look!
